Perennial Flowers that butterflies love

The beauty of perennial flowers is that they will grow year after year so you can continue to attract all those beautiful butterflies.

1. Lilac

Lilac bushes are so beautiful, fragrant, and they attract lots of butterflies. If you don't already have one, these would be a great addition to your garden.

2. Salvia

Salvia are in the sage family, and they have fragrant pink and purple flowers depending on the variety you choose.

We planted salvia in our front and back yard and the butterflies are always landing on them.

3. White Profusion Butterfly Bush

As the name suggests, a butterfly bush is another great choice if you want butterflies in your garden.

4. Phlox

Phlox flowers are deep purple with a white center and they too will help bring in those butterflies.

5. Coneflowers or echinacea

You might know them as echinacea or coneflowers, but these beautiful perennials will attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds!

These sunrise lantana flowers are multi-colored which just adds to their beauty. This would be a great annual for a planter on your porch or patio.

7. Zinnias

Zinnias come in lots of different colors from lime green, to pink, purple and lots more variations.

8. Butterfly Pea

Another annual to plant for attracting bees is this butterfly pea.

9. Petunias

Probably one of the most popular annuals you can find in any garden center are petunias.

Best place to buy flowers

The best place to buy flowers and plants is your local garden center because they will have the plants marked as annuals or perennials for your location.

As long as you know your zone though, online can be another great option!

I've purchase many plants, flowers, and trees from Etsy and always have good luck. It also lets you try new flowers or plants that you might not find elsewhere.
